Alzheimers Auckland Inc was first founded in 1985 by a group of carers who identified the need for common support.  Over the last 25 years, the organisation has grown along with demand and developed services that are directly aligned with community need.

Based in Royal Oak, we consider our priority is to provide free services that meet the needs of all people with dementia, their carers, family, friends and whanau.  Alzheimers and dementia can be a very isolating and distressing disease and it is extremely important that people realise they don't have to do it alone!

We are a not-for-profit organisation with a passionate and committed team who pride ourselves on empowering and enabling all people affected by dementia.
