Carer Education Courses are a critical, free service we offer to enable and empower all people affected by dementia.
The courses are designed to give practical tools, understanding, and strategies for those caring for someone with dementia at home.
Carer Education groups are held throughout the year and in various locations throughout Auckland including Waitakere, Rodney district and the North Shore. The Carer Education Programme is a six week module with each session lasting 2.5 hours. Feedback from the sessions is that for anybody caring for someone with Alzheimers or another form of dementia, the Education Programme provides invaluable information that can be applied to all situations.
